Each year on Holocaust Memorial Day, people come together from all backgrounds to learn lessons from the past. On HMD we honour the experiences of people affected by the Holocaust and other genocides, and challenge ourselves to work for a safer, better future. HMDT was founded by and is largely funded by government and is the charity which delivers thousands of HMD events. Laura chairs the board of trustees.

Mitzvah Day brings people together, now in 30 countries across the world, through Jewish led social action, galvanising volunteers to give their time, not their money, to make a difference to local charities.
